As United Methodists, we come from a tradition that empowers church members to discern and pursue the ministry initiatives God lays on our hearts.  Below are some of the leaders of our church talking about what their faith means.

My faith is more than

a philosophy or an ideal. 

My faith is a living,

growing, personal

relationship with God. 

This journey of life has

many bumps, twists and turns, so I seek to know God fully – as my heavenly parent, my closest friend, and my guide – on a day to day basis.  Human beings are imperfect and so we love imperfectly.  God is perfect and God’s love is indescribable!  The joy that relationship with God brings is beyond measure!  My faith is everything to me and I will

continue to share God’s love

to the best of my ability

as long as I have breath.

What my faith means to me -

 

No mater where I am or what situation I’m in, I know that Jesus is with me.  He comforts me when I’m hurting, gives me peace when I’m afraid, guides me when I’m confused and above all he gives me his unconditional love.
